Easily the weakest (and sadly the last as of 2025) collaboration featuring The Rock & Sean William Scott. Not sure who this is for exactly, far too generic in its story to be appealing to adults & yet the homages to better films featuring aliens/a majority of the jokes are entirely tailored to appeal to adults. I definitely didn’t hate it, but if I can help it my future children will never have to see this one 👽

You know that feeling of safety that you normally get by reassuring yourself with the phrase: “It’s just a movie.” ?  That method proves rather ineffective when what you’re witnessing & hearing is the stuff that nightmares are often constructed of. 

Longlegs is an immediate addition to the pantheon of amazing horror we’ve had this past decade providing something equally compelling in both unpacking the mystery and dreading what the next clue will reveal. Shockingly even the  occasional comedic elements actually worked here…
