"Young men make wars, and the virtues of war are the virtues of young men"

1940
This film is so significant in cinema as Chaplin’s first use of dialogue but this is genuinely great and you have to honour the man who paved the way for people like John Ford, Alfred Hitchcock and basically every director in modern history. Was a huge risk for Chaplin’s career as he ditched his tramp character to make a political message. Genuinely a great of film.
