The corruption at the expense of these young children is infuriating. The Church should be ashamed of itself.

The original 1980 film was full of gothic atmosphere, brilliant cinematography, and genuine scares. This one is just boring and lacks any of the stunning visual quality that contributed to the atmosphere of the original. The acting was also forced, wooden, and I never once believed that any of them were truly frightened by anything occurring in the plot.
