Yeah, it’s kinda like your typical time looper movie. They tried to sell it like it had this "unique" concept, but honestly, once you watch it, it feels pretty much the same as other films in the genre. The story’s got a ton of plot holes too, mostly ‘cause the script’s all over the place and super inconsistent.
But honestly, the acting totally saves it. Jake Gyllenhaal absolutely kills it and brings so much emotion to his role. And Vera Farmiga? Even with barely any screen time, she still manages to steal the show. So yeah, even though the story’s kinda shaky, the performances make it worth a watch.
