Rewatched on Criterion earlier this year to see if it would still tearjerk me crazy like when I was younger and in conclusion yes it did but I cried harder than ever since I now GET all of what it’s saying about everyone and have had many decades longer in relationships with my now elderly mom and 101 year old grandmother. A+ thank you but also WHY CANT THEY EDIT MOVIES WELL LIKE THIS ANYMORE????

Good for nothing, bad in bed, nobody liked you you’re better off dead goodbye!  Swan forever. Winslow forever. “Get this f*g outta here!” Also the Juicy Fruits??? And BEEF?! Every fucking Paul Williams song.  PHOENIXXXXX!!!!!!!!! Whether Jessica Harper is good or bad is irrelevant as she’s just when we need as Phoenix. PS ANGELYNE has a non speaking role, waiting in the line of girls trying out for the lead role at The Paradise.
