that final shot… zendaya the actress that you are.
oh wow. groundbreaking work. just as spectacular and mind blowing as its predecessor. this film is on a whole other level with this universe’s world building. denis villeneuve was truly the man for the job he truly has the most extraordinary vision. timothee of course is brilliant as paul & rebecca’s masterful work as lady jessica but zendaya is truly this films heart and soul and standout of the film. such a subtle moving yet beautiful performance as chani her best on screen role thus far. let me just say that austin butler is HORRIFYING in this role as feyd, I was literally terrified every time he was on screen he took my breath away. dare I say one of the most terrifying villains (but hot) in cinema history? I loved the little moments between paul and chani and watching their romance deepen given how amazing their chemistry is. the cinematography & costume designs are absolutely gorgeous along with the production design. that score by hans zimmer he really has done it yet again just gives me chills. florence pugh and léa seydoux given their short screentime steal every scene they’re in. ALSO CHRISTOPHER WALKEN I MEAN??? common now just acting masterclasses from the entire cast. this film must be seen in the theater to get the full experience it was truly like no other. it’s fucking epic. truly a sci-fi cinematic treasure. A certain someone’s cameo brought me so much joy.
bring on dune messiah.
