I took one screenwriting class in college. All of my opinions are justified.

This movie made me sick to my stomach on multiple occasions—none of which would be possible without the power of the DSi camera they filmed it with. Intense action, perfect scoring, and great ending. It set the standard for zombie media well into the 2010s.

That said, if I had to watch this on anything but a theater screen, I would have spent 15 minutes trying to fix the quality and would have ended up just watching something else. Extra half star for the magic of the silver screen.

The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover

Utterly absurd and dripping with symbolism. Michael Gambon embodies every one of the seven deadly sins, taking the idea of a villain to yet unseen level. In the end, he got his just desserts (and for a brief second, I think he actually enjoyed it)

Awesome post credits scene!!  The Minimalist was so imposing (in spite of his name, haha!) and I felt like The Brutalist is gonna have a tough time in the sequel! This is what the fans wanted! So glad I shelled out an extra $40 for the granite cube popcorn bucket—it’s gonna look hella good next to my Harry Van Buren Funko Pop!
