great colors, cool sets, and i really enjoyed the scene where Lola lets loose on stage. all of Fassbinder’s contextual references interspersed with the musical accompaniment gave the movie an elegant pace. ending stings as always..

the amount of time the camera settles on subject and scene make it’s world so vivid and textured. language, faces, objects have a potency that rings true. i liked whenever i could catch a glimpse of the details in her sculptures and so many nice compositions of light entering space. feels very familiar
