A masterpiece of sound and vision representing Denis Villeneuve at his best. There are a shocking amount of memorable images in this film. It's also an expertly cast film with all of the actors on the same page. In addition to what it is, it also needs to point out what it does not include. There are no cheesy, written by committee jokes dumbing the movie down. Instead of the usual greenish/bluish CGI blur that audiences are accustomed to, Dune 2 has an orange (sun and sand) tone which stands out. See it on the best screen available.
