I really wanted to give this movie the benefit of the doubt considering how much I love Katherine Hepburn, but it's romantic story is so forced and not believable. It's even more disappointing when you consider how beautiful this film looks as it takes full advantage of its on location filming of Venice, Italy. It's similar to Roman Holiday in that regard. While its kind of worth watching for that alone, thats about it unfortunately.
