Jack Kesy is a great Hellboy. 

And tone was great. Love the dark folk horror tone meets noir that this captured.

The sheer joyful magnetism of Rachel’s character in the movie carried this film and had me watching until the end. I don’t generally go looking for found footage films, but the hooks of the film mixed with the energy of the characters really keeps the viewer. The mysteries and weirdness are doled out at just the right pace for this kind of film, even if it doesn’t provide all the answers. Plus as a filmmaker, who hasn’t fantasized about buying an abandoned house for cheap to film in.

Wild film based on a true story. Seeing Scotland made me teary as I miss it. My second home. Unique animation style to boot.
