I think the way people gas up the first SpongeBob movie as the greatest cartoon based movie of all time is exactly how I feel about both Phineas And Ferb movies. Just pure animated epics that feel extremely faithful to their source show and are jam-packed with both heart and laughs. Phineas And Ferb is like The Fairly OddParents in the sense that pretty much all of its special events are absolute bangers so I'm really excited to watch the rest of these again
I don't care how much online discourse there is surrounding this series, but Plankton The Movie is one of my new favorite things to ever come out of the SpongeBob franchise. Maybe that's just recency bias, but I honestly don't even care. It's a MARVEL at how massive of a step up this is from the Sandy Movie.
If they're going to continue to make character-specific SpongeBob side movies until the end of time then...PLEASE MAKE THEM MORE LIKE THIS!
