This film just gets more phenomenal every time I see it. It’s already one of the slickest and most intelligent screenplays I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch, but the fact it’s this whole metaphor on growing up and acceptance, without ever getting too tacky and never losing its undeniable charm just takes it to a whole other level of genius.

From what I’ve seen, film-making and storytelling at some of its finest. Saving Private Ryan can feel like ”hell” to go through at times, as you watch people and essentially the world at its worst and most hideous… but its this compelling story all about courage and pure human integrity at the end of the day, phenomenally crafted by the one and only Steven Spielberg that manages to win me over and leave me a sentimental wreck every single time. One of the greatest blockbusters (w/ shades of arthouse) we'll ever get to see. I sadly haven't been watching many movies as much as I've wanted to recently, but seeing this is enough for a week or two. Will never stop adoring this… really just a perfect piece of film in my eyes.
