When Diana chose KFC over that fancy British food… I felt that.

Judging by the star rating, and the fact that I just watched it for the first time three days ago, it’s pretty obvious that I’m completely and utterly in love with this thing. I could go on and on about all the amazing things in Booksmart, but I just wanted to briefly talk about my favourite scene in the whole movie - the pool sequence.
The following may contain spoilers.
This single scene is pretty much the reason why I…
Clearly the chad of classic cinema. A triumph in acting, directing, and screenwriting. It ultimately just slaps pretty freaking hard more than 60 years later. The fact that this is a directorial debut just blows my mind... and destroys any hope of me making a film xD.
This song right here captures the vibe and essence of the film to perfection. The Big Lebowski is still so damn good, still so damn iconic, and of course, still so damn hilarious to this day. It’s a timeless classic that I will never ever get tired of, and it’ll never fail to deliver me ounces of pure joy. The greatest comedy of all time? I think as of right now, I abide :)
Probably my least favourite Mann work as of right now, but it’s still pretty solid. The film’s visuals and music are top-notch as with any other of Mann’s films, and I thought that third act was amazing and tight as hell. But personally, I wasn’t as invested with the both the story and characters as much as I hoped, which took away most of my enjoyment with the movie. Man, I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately, a majority of…
I am genuinely torn between this and Collateral. Both have such terrific performances and action, whilst still having incredibly deep, nuanced and well-written characters. But, if there’s one thing I do know, it’s that Michael Mann is the man, his direction undeniably SLAPS.
Probably one of the most bizarre movie experiences I’ve ever had. My Mum pretty much hated this, and I can completely understand why. Calling this film weird and insane would be a massive understatement... but at the same time, I kinda loved it? As strange as it was, it was sooo frickin entertaining piecing together this whole mystery. Took it down half a star though cause of Andrew Garfield’s posture, geez.
If any of you have seen Under The Silver Lake and know other films similar to it, please let me know, thank you!!
My favourite cat-and-mouse movie ever. My favourite Spielberg work ever. And this might just be my favourite Leo performance, EVER.
Viciously entertaining, incredibly smart, and downright heart-warming. Catch Me If You Can is one of those movies where it’s WAY better than you thought it would be. It does everything that it needs to do pretty much perfectly... and a bit more. If a movie can do that... it’s pretty much a masterpiece in my books :)
GAHH I LOVE THIS MOVIEEE!!
