Literally elite level comic-book filmmaking going on here, yet my favourite scene in the entire film has to be a not even 10 second shot of Penguin waddling exactly LIKE a penguin as he’s tied up. Matt Reeves, you bloody genius.

Pom’s humongous, stupid grin while ramming that tank of a police vehicle through the streets of Rome is literally me the entire time watching this movie. My flaws still remain the same, but I somehow enjoyed it even more on rewatch. Visceral and hard-hitting action cinema. Manifesting that Part 2 will be bringing it all the way home!
You wanna go for a ride?
Travis Scott can’t match the amount of goosebumps I get during the ride to the orphanage.
Quick little life update; I’m graduating high school next Friday! There’s been my fair share of ups and downs, but overall, I’ll have amazing memories to hold onto, even though I’m (extremely) glad it’s finally over :)
Onto the next chapter…
You do not know what pain is yet. You will learn. (lol)
Truly incredible how this film's overarching story seems to become a bit more dumb to me after every watch, yet I can't help but love it just a fraction more.
Embracing Nolan's sometimes over-the-top but undeniably grandiose and profound approach to his movies years ago is something I won't ever regret.
If I were to name 3 movies that defined the 2010’s as a decade, one would be The Social Network, the next would be The Emoji Movie, and my last pick would be this beast of a picture - Parasite.
There’s not many films that can achieve this level of nuance, this level of craftsmanship, this level of precision, whilst still being a highly entertaining ride anyone can enjoy. I seeing this for the first time back in 2019 and just thinking, as cheesy as it sounds: damn… film might just be the best thing ever.
Yeah, I genuinely believe this is one of the greatest films I've ever seen and will ever see. Even though I understood the script way more this time around, I still don't get everything, but that's okay. The way this compels me from the very first frame to the last is something I don't feel very often with movies. And that's why this is one of the best. A masterfully-acted tale from the wild but genius mind of Lynch, filled…
Here it goes…
My favourite Star Wars film, encapsulates everything I love about the science fiction genre, adventure genre, and just film in general. Absolutely stunning to look at. Phenomenally directed. ionately acted. And perhaps the saga’s most thought-provoking and nuanced picture. Yes, it’s flawed to a huge degree, and I can completely understand why it’s so divisive, but this one’s the one I’ve resonated with and enjoyed the most over the years. More than a Star Wars film for me.
NOTE: I view this still part of the Star Wars canon, but not really part of its trilogy. Kind of a standalone film, for me.
