Just as thrilling and emotional as the first time I saw this. It’s (few) stereotypical characters, plot hole inconsistencies and rough spots of VFX aren’t nearly enough to stop this from still being one of my favourite horror movies ever. Adrenaline-fuelled, blood-soaked mayhem from start to finish. The build-up and intricate edit surrounding the first infection scene is actually flawless.
