One of my buds would not stop bugging me to give this a chance for months. Honestly I’m more than glad I did, since i think this is now one of my top favorite animes. Such a unique and interesting idea of following a female elf mage after she and her party of heroes defeated a great evil. Watching her deal with others close to her aging while she starts to learn appreciate the time you have with those close to you. Her aging taking so long that most would think she’s inmortal. Frieren is honestly such a wonderful character, serious and stoic but with flashes of emotion from once in a while. Not to mention she can be very unintentionally funny, really sweet or caring and finally a great teacher. Alongside her its Fern, a human child that is entrusted to Frieren by one of her friends from her past adventure. We see her grow into quite a powerful young mage and she acts like a perfect counterpart to Frieren. A bit into the series the final member s in Stark, a scared but valiant/ brave warrior trained by another of Frieren’s original party.

The series focuses on Frieren getting in touch with the world around her. All while traveling on their way to Aureole , where the souls of the dead reside. All to say a proper fair well to her old party leader Himmel the hero. Along the way we have adventures, daily life, battles, flashbacks and so many lessons. Not to mention a cool arc of Frieren and Ferm trying to qualify on becoming first class mages. I honestly wouldn’t have loved more the warm feeling this series gave me while watching. I can’t wait for season two, January can’t come here any faster. Once again, can’t be more happy I’m into watching anime these days!

Okay so I watched this movie on the day of release at the first available time slot in my nearest theatre. Me and my homies cut the last period so we could go prepare to head there. Nothing will ever probably match the experience of watching this. From going back in time to the first avengers, to Steve lifting mjölnir, to the portals opening up giving way to the final battle. Next day we got to school and everyone was begging us not to spoil a single thing. It was all a spectacle, you just had to be there.

Watching it now I still feel the same way about it. Yes I get that Infinity War moves faster and it’s better ed, this Thanos doesn’t get the same depth as the other but seriously I couldn’t care less. So many nods to conversations, moments and scenes from previous movies paying off is simply exceptional. The big battle is the it’s just a marvel to behold. Every single character gets a moments to shine, be it a small or big one. Even if the universe it still going to this day, this felt like the true culmination of a saga. That for many if they wanted, could end without watching anything else. Overall a magnificent experience that if you watch with Infinity War it’s incomparable in my humble opinion.

This still blows my mind till this day! I can’t even believe how they made everything click so well. The character pairings are literally perfect. The entire cast it’s giving it their all, serious and cool when they have to be. I watched it opening day and I still get so excited every time. Josh Brolin’s it’s commanding the screen as Thanos, he’s honestly close to the protagonist of the film. While his solution may be very much flawed you can definitely understand what he is trying to accomplish. The special effects still look quite excellent. All the battles are exciting, fluid and a delight to watch unfold. Finally, that ending it’s still so chilling and I’m surprised they went there. I even believe the movie works solidly if you haven’t watched every MCU installment previously, although it’s much better if you have watched everything. Overall I still love this to death as the geek that I am!

Managed to watch this one alongside the first. I gotta say many of the positives from the previous one still stand greatly here. They even upped the team dynamic like I wanted them too. The addition of Scarlet Witch and Vision is great and while short the presence of Quicksilver was cool to have. Ultron in my opinion is a very underrated villain. Like he can be menacing and even funny sometimes, I really enjoyed him. Yes many say the farm scenes are slow but that’s what gets us character moments and great dialogue scenes. The Natasha and Bruce romance was unique and while many don’t like it I would liked them to explore it further but we all know that doesn’t happen. Overall while it may not be as good as the previous it’s not like it’s far from it in my opinion!🦖

Well my girlfriend told me she was in the mood of watching all the avengers movies and I was not gonna say no to that. It’s been a while since I seen them all. I gotta say the started off with a bang honestly. I for sure the excitement back then when I was 11 (wow it’s been that long). Like what do you mean these movies are going to connect to each other, what was that all about. If only that young me knew how awesome it was gonna keep getting. Back then the avengers weren’t that well known unless you were actively a superheroes enjoyer. Now everyone knows the Avengers and loves them. Can’t blame them because this movies makes them such a cool ensamble of characters. Their dynamic together is great to see unfold and grow and seeing them team up to save New York still feels exciting. Everyone gets their momento to shine and be cool. Till this day Loki is one of the best characters in the MCU and in this movie he’s such a little asshole. Just a man seeking the attention and approval he never got growing up, even if he actually didn’t grow up in a bad way. Overall this movie still holds up in every way for me… The action, the drama, the effects, the jokes, it all hits. My only minor complaint is I would’ve loved seeing the team interact a lil bit more out of tense situation but besides that it’s still awesome.

Ps. I just found out the 13th year anniversary of this movies release is today…What a weird coincidence haha🦖

I cannot begin to say how happy I was to feel like this movie overall didn’t feel like it was edited and changed to hell and back. Last February brought a new Captain America film, that while enjoyed it, it definitely felt like the higher ups had their hands all up in there. It’s just nice to feel that in this one they had an idea an executed on it to great effect. Very important for me to give the cast their flowers cause honestly I felt the team dynamic was quite excellent to the point that wish to see them together more(which seems like it’ll be the case). Huge major props to Florence Pugh , which is just so damn charming and lovable as Yelena. I don’t know much about Sentry/Bob in the comics but I found him a very compelling character to follow. Same goes for Red Guardian, Ghost and US Agent and as for Bucky that man is just awesome to see always.
You can feel the main theme of the movie from the very beginning of the film and I think they did a very good job of pushing that message. Mental health and depression are topics that I honestly never imagined would be a topic that would be tackled in the MCU. Thankfully here we are and we get to see these people that feel ignored and forgotten get a chance at the spotlight. To show that it’s important to make connection when you can, it’s never late. So with some solid action sequences, a well handled overarching topic and plot, great performances and a killer after credits scene…Im glad to say that this to me felt like a true return to form and a standout among the MCU.

I was pleasantly surprised that’s this didn’t just a generic action film. While for sure it has some cliches and formulaic stuff it was still very unique in its own right. The unique aspect of how it touches on trauma from exmilitary units. Tatum doing a good job during the more serious showings of the side effects caused by his time serving. The dog stuns are quite good with Lulu being a scary but lovable companion. It’s not groundbreaking or anything but i believe it’s a solid enough watch.

So today I watched 3 films with my girlfriend so that means I’ll be dumping 3 reviews. Next up was Juno, I have always heard lovely and positive things about it so we decided to give it a watch. The charm that this film has is quite unique with all the art simulating how Juno draws and the awkwardness of it all. Elliot Page was giving such a charming and innocent performance. The film tackles many of the struggles a teenager goes through with early pregnancy’s. At one point I thought it would deviate in a weird way but thankfully it did not. Ultimately it focuses on love and what it means to find that special someone. In this case being Pauline played by Michael Cera, father of the child. All of this and I haven’t mentioned the foster parents angle with Vanessa and Mark. Seeing how their love story did not align for them to have a future together. Overall an awkward, charming, funny and poignant movie that I quite enjoyed.

Truly an outstanding and magnificent film based on a real life hero. While I don’t consider myself a lover of war films, this one in particular took a very interesting angle. What if we focused on someone set in his beliefs of not holding a weapon, no matter the reason. Driven to serve the purpose that to him God gave him, save others. Andrew Garfield is delivering a phenomenal performance as Desmond Doss. I could not help but feel so much for him, being such a caring and delightful person. The rest of the cast were doing an excellent job as well but special shoutout to Vince Vaughn. It was fun to see him in a more serious role with some light funny touches. By the end of all his sacrifice, knowing he saved 75 people in the middle of all that nightmare is nothing short of a miracle. Overall pretty solid flick, wish they could’ve showed everyone’s reaction to the actions of Doss. Although they did show some of the real survivors, which was touching…Recommend!!!

Finally it’s my 100th review on Letterbox. Oh boy what an extraordinary experience I get to gush over for a little bit. The cinematography was excellent, the performances were outstanding and the music out of this world. From the superb debut of Miles Caton (in his first ever feature role) to the dual performance of Michael B. Jordan. Let’s add to that the excellent performances of Delroy Lindo, Hailee Steinfeld and the excellent antagonist Jack O’Connell. The entire cast brought there A game to this and I have little doubts that it was thanks to the directing of Ryan Coogler. Who just literally poured so much ion and emotion into this.

As much as this is a movie about the supernatural, it’s also a film about music and the impact it has had and will continue to have throughout time. There’s some deeper messages about it that I can’t really try to sound like an expert on them being a latino that’s still more white than flour. But I can appreciate its messages and what’s trying to instruct at the audience as a social worker. Furthermore, there’s a musical dance sequence that might be one of the best scenes I have ever watched in any media. Just that alone it’s worth the price of ission. I don’t want to spoil nothing…So go now and watch Smoke and Stack’s return to their hometown.

CAN’T RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH!!!

I very vividly how my friends recommended me to watch this back when it came out and we were at high school. Such a shame that I didn’t give anime a chance back then. In retrospect I wish I could tell my younger self how much I was missing. These film specifically was such an experience. As a social worker these topics in the youth are something that has become more prominent with the rise of technology and social media. The thought of bullying a kid with deafness may seem like something most would not do, but let me tell you kids will be kids most of the time. Sometimes they say or do stuff in innocent ways without knowing what’s going on behind the scenes. It was heartbreaking to see it unfold in this story.

Seeing how much remorse Shouya felt and how that affected his personality. How others turned their backs on him when they took it to far to the point that he has social anxiety. Not only that but understanding that Shouko always just wanted to be her friend because she liked him was heartbreaking. Both of them feeling so worthless and guilty for each other was horrible, to the point that both of them could even think that taking their lives would be the best solution. The tears I shredded at multiple points of the story were plenty. But it’s not all sadness, when we see them making friends and repairing what was broken from when they were more young and ignorant. The development of their sweet and loving relationship. I don’t want to spoil anything nor to make this any longer.

GIVE THIS A WATCH, CANNOT RECOMMEND IT MORE!!!

Yet another anime my girlfriend got me into and it’s one of the big ones of the new era so to speak. I really enjoy the characters and their dynamics. Tanjiro is just such a heartwarming and badass protagonist. His relationship with Nezuko really reminds me of my sister and how much I would endure for her just as much as him. This particular arc being condensed into a movie works surprisingly well, although I’m aware they released it as separate episodes as well. The whole train vibe was excellent and with a very formidable antagonist with Enmu. Now truly the highlight besides the main trio as always, was Rengoku. Such a stoic and cool character that with even limited screen time left a big impact. The animation during his fight and honestly even before that was extraordinary. But not just the action, some of the dramatic moments were excellently animated as well. Dealing with some heavy themes of loss and living uno to your parents wishes. Overall a great watch and a very good arc. Can’t wait to see how the story continues.

This review may contain spoilers.

Watching this movie it’s truly a journey. Because if you know nothing of the plot beforehand the mystery is something that impacts your enjoyment greatly. I knew vaguely what the premise was so it didn’t hit me as hard but it was still great to see it unfold. Jim Carrey gives an excellent performance of a man who just feels like there’s more for him out there. In this case that being quite literally. Trapped in a life that for him was real, while for others it was nothing more than entertainment. Simply a living product, that when he almost got something real they took it away from him. What a concept so unique that I have to wonder how does someone come up with it. An idea so crazy that honestly knowing how hooked humanity is to their screens, wouldn’t surprise me if it happened in reality. It shows how perseverance and hope can get you to that goal if you work hard enough and want it just as much. In my head cannon Truman did get to see Sylvia one more time. What a classic that everyone should see!

And of course:⬇️
“Good morning, and in case I don’t see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight.”

What a wild ride this was to watch. The worst part it’s that I want more of it. From a business man turned gang member, a hot and wild two hand gunslinger chick, a blade swinging taiwanese woman, a one man army maid, to a fricking goth girl wielding a chainsaw. This series it’s insane, the action it’s chaotic and so fluid. The contrast of the two leads being Revy a known mercenary and Rock that comes from a normal life thrown into the gang lifestyle is fun to watch. Revy is one of those female characters that you know it’s an icon among anime characters and I get it, she’s fun, foul mouthed, attractive and such a badass.

While the series it’s bombastic, it takes its time to have slower moments where the dialogue moves everything forward with interesting and well thought of topics. Ranging from violence, politics, honor, abuse, ideology’s and many other ones. From one moment dealing and facing scum nazis, to facing children who were raised to be cold blooded murderers. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, because the violence sometimes goes very extreme. However if you have the stomach to watch stuff like that I say go for it. I really wish this had more to watch, since it just sorta ends and while the arcs are concluded there is so much to explore. I’m going to have to venture out and read the manga. Overall very fun and solid, recommend!!!

Since the sequel to this is now in the top 5 best grossing movies of all time I had to check out what this is about. It’s really interesting seeing the differences between how we do animated movies here in the west. Like never in a million years over her I’m gonna see an animated movie showing me bleeding characters or bystanders getting hit these days. That said I see that just like over here they’re not above a fart joke and I found it just as dumb as I do with the ones here. Despite that I can’t deny that the fluidity of the animation was excellent. Can’t even begin to explain how awesome the fighting was, so fluid and masterfully animated.
The whole idea of the evil spirit wound up in the human world and the good spirit ended up with the bad guy was a really neat idea. The spirits turning into a mischievous child and a calm serious one that are destined to be enemies but turn friends is a pretty cool concept. Not an original one but it’s executed well enough and the characters interactions carry it well. Overall this is a solid animated flick for both children and adults. Now the set up for the next one is very cool and from the praise it’s getting I’m guessing it deliver big time. Hope I can catch it soon and that the action only gets even greater.

So today I was really in the mood to go to the theatre. I did hear positive stuff for this movie so I went ahead and gave it a shot. Honestly it was a delight to see how much I dug it. Jack Quaid is just a charming actor that I just enjoy watching when he pops up. Also the man has some insane pull for ladies in and outside his work (kudos to him). Now the movie is a pretty standard action film. The thing that makes it unique is the whole Nathan doesn’t feel any pain. It brings with it some real funny moments and creative action. That said the cringe I felt during some parts was truly unique to this film. The gruesomeness of some of the movie is probably gonna rub some people off the wrong way. But since Nathan doesn’t react to what would, very much be painful, it makes it more tolerable. His relationship with Amber Midthunder’s Sherry was real charming. They have very believable chemistry and it made me buy into their romance. While this isn’t going to revolutionize action flicks I do believe it’s a solid watch. Would recommend!

Simply such a delight to watch from start to end. I was never a cat person till a black one started living around my house a few years back (Named the little guy BD) . This movie really captures the little mannerisms and movements they make so well. The style the animation is going for is so unique and great to look at that I can’t even believe that it was made by using Blender. All the praise in the world must go to the dedication of the director Gints Zilbalonis, who you can tell really wanted to get this done. Just so full of emotions without uttering a single word. I could tell everything the lovely animals were thinking by just little details. Great to see that in moments of disaster and danger, anyone can come together. Whether that be humans or in the case of this movie, animals. The movie also presented such an interesting world that while not explained was fun to hypothesize what happened to get here. As a whole I can’t see myself not giving this all the stars. Just a wonderfully made and executed piece of art.

Ps: So glad this took the Oscar for best animated film. Independent films are on a roll and Hollywood should be taking notes.

What a warm and delightful watch! I’m fully aware of this taking a lot of liberties with the historical accuracy of what happened. That said, while that may be a sad thing… I can’t deny how good this was. While it has some standard cliches, the music and performances carry this in their shoulders strongly. I was moving and dancing along with each musical sequence, even while not knowing any of the lyrics. It’s so great to see Hugh Jackman on a role that many won’t think suit him if they don’t know about his theatre background and only know him as Wolverine. He absolutely crushed it alongside the entire cast. So great to see Zendeya and Zac Efron here as well knowing them from their past musicals in Disney. Finally with this I have finished all the MHA movies. A shame that I didn’t get into this when the movie was in theaters. Because what a spectacle this was to watch. Easily the best out of all the movie villains with Dark Might. Just funny, strong and menacing when he needed to be. The entire class of 1-A being used excellently, given enough moments for each one of the students. Deku as always giving it all to save everyone by the end and get them to smile. The new character Giulio was a certified badass with a badass look and some great motivation for his journey. The animation team went bananas, can’t believe how fluid, full of color and movement the action was. Simply outstanding action, you could feel every hit landing. With this there’s only the last season left and it all over (That is for these characters) I’ve had such a great time with this world and out all the four movies I think this might be my favorite.

Watched this after mindlessly looking for stuff to watch with my girl. It’s very much a by the numbers and cliche action movie. That said I can’t deny that Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx have a high level of charm that’s unmatched. Certainly it’s a delight to just see Cameron Diaz in a movie again. Like I said before you can pretty much guess where it’s going at most points. But at the very least the action it’s pretty fun and some of the banter between the characters is good. Overall an alright watch when your scrolling endlessly on Netflix.

My first MCU letterbox review and it’s a very divisive one online. Although what isn’t considered divisive these days anywhere. Starting off I gotta say that for me this movie wasn’t nearly as bad as I’ve heard and read. While I can see the issues that many have with the film for me it still didn’t make me think it was bad. I even think there’s an excellent film inside of this with a couple more touch ups on the story. Anthony Mackie is doing a good job being the new Captain America and I have 0 doubts that with more appearances he’ll get even better. I also have to give Harrison Ford credit for doing a great job being Thaddeus Ross. Quite surprised with what a good performance he gives. Hoped for more Giancarlo Esposito, but at least he could come back in the future. The action was very fun and with some creative use of those wing suits. At the end of it all I had a good time and think this is a decent flick.

(P.S this is sorta also a semi-sequel to The Incredible Hulk…weird but welcome I guess)

Talk about a very weird and unique movie. Like I’m more than sure that similar plots have been done in other movies but I really doubt the framing of food has been used in any other like this. The tension of most of the story taking place in this one spot works wonders. Now talking about tension, it would not feel this great if not for the performance by Ralph Fiennes. Such a menacing and commanding performance with his simple tone and mannerisms. Likewise I have to give praise Anya Taylor-Joy as Margot. She absolutely kills it being the one thing that foils Chef’s Slowiks plans. The entire cast works exceptionally to make their characters feel insufferable and pretentious. Playing more into the goal of The menu. Overall I think the movie it’s quite great, well shot, unique premise and great performances. Even better probably if you know nothing about it.

Let me start off by saying how absolutely adorable Shaun the sheep is on this, no wonder why it has it own spinoff. This is yet again another wonderful and wacky adventure following Wallace and Gromit. Once again having a very fun villain at the center of it and also a very cute romance between Wallace and Wendolene. The claymation is on point and even more refined. These guys are wizards at this because I have no idea how they manage to animate their own take of soap and other liquids. Would definitely recommend just like the others!!!

Never before have I seen all of the Wallace & Gromit shorts so I decided to start them. There’s so much wonder and joy in this. You can feel the effort and hard work of the team behind the stop motion. So wonderful that from this, a well regarded and loved franchise bloomed. To me deservedly so, comedy was on point and it was just such a charming watch. Again can’t stop praising their love and use of clay for the stop motion and I know they probably master it with each short and movie. As a whole a very nice watch, definitely recommend!

I am in absolute awe after finishing this. The cinematography in this movie was so excellent, so many great shots. The premise, at least for me, was so unique and absolutely flawlessly executed. The unique premise used to tackle the struggle many women face with their beauty and aging with the ing of time was an excellent metaphor for situations in real life. Both Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley are giving it their all with their outstanding performances. I’m glad to see that Demi Moore got the nominated for an Oscar but I’m saddened that Margaret Qualley didn’t get the same treatment by the academy. Nevertheless, this doesn’t take away from the outstanding work they deliver with this bonkers of a script. Another highlight for me was the score, elevating each scene that it kicked in. I definitely can’t recommend this if you have a very light stomach for gross out stuff. But if you have a strong one, give yourself the privilege to watch this excellent film.

Finally managed to catch this one in theaters before it leaves them. I found it to be quite a excellent. Robert Eggers it’s a name that I’m familiar with through social media and videos raving about his movies and style. Style is something that holy shit, comes jumping at you during this entire movies run time. So many wonderful shots with a hauntingly good score backing them up. Some outstanding performances from Lily-Rose Depp and Nicholas Hoult. As well as Aaron Taylor-Johnson giving a very solid performance. But I would be lying if for me the star of the show wasn’t Bill Skarsgård. The look and mannerisms were so off putting and creepy and not to mention the chilling voice. I’ve never seen the other takes on the story so for me this was wildly unique and a great take of a vampire. Since these days these are very few and far in between. Overall I was really into it. I’m pleasantly surprised by the route this took. Many would probably expect a big spectacle just by the title alone but to me the more focused story worked really well. Not to say that it doesn’t have big moments because it surely does, when the invasion first starts it’s a great sequence of awe and suspense. Lupita Nyong’o is doing an absolute stellar job as the lead Samira. Bless and protect the cutest cat Frodo, who behaved like a good boy for most of the movie. Also so glad to see Joseph Quinn getting more bigger roles thanks to Stranger Things. He did a good job here alongside the rest of the cast. The story might be simple but again I believe it’s effective and that sound design is excellent. Altogether I think this serves as an excellent extension of the universe. While I understand there’s good cops out there, these particular ones can rot in the worse fiery pits for what they did. So I back in 2021 how divisive this movie was and now I understand why. It tries to tackle so many issues from the real world that while sometimes it manages, others it’s not the best at it. Like of course the media tries their best to mask dark subjects because they believe it’s the best thing for the people. On the other hand seeing how easily manipulated people are with stuff that there’s is qualified people telling you the truth about. How the president is controlled behind the scenes by a weird tech bro. It’s satire doesn’t work always and sometimes it’s very exaggerated. The editing it’s so wild and frenetic through the entire film. Can’t deny that the acting is top notch by Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio. Overall I can see why it’s divisive but it worked enough for me. It’s definitely not for everyone and that’s okay.

The most mind blowing thing in this is watching Robert Downey Jr. having a role in something that’s not MCU. I suppose it makes sense since it’s before that started building up. I’m kind of amazed of the main premise of this series. It’s about a company that works in cleaning up the room of the recently deceased. Which it’s an actual real job that exists in other places of the world. It’s really a heavy subject that they handle very well in the show. All of the characters are excellent and some even have good arcs to follow. I have fully become aware that K-dramas are somewhat overlooked just because people don’t want to read subtitles. Starting of the year with the perfect rewatch. Ever since I was a kid Spider-Man and Batman were my heroes. The same as for many others out there. I as many others have been blessed with many outstanding stories doing justice to these characters. Spiderman has had plenty of those, but I can’t even put into words how much this embodies everything about the character. Showing all the struggles and compromises that comes with that responsibility of the character. Miles is absolutely perfect, so good in fact that after this came out everything he was in started to model him after this version of him. Peter B. And Gwen are excellent ing characters that bring different perspective for Miles to understand the role he must now embody. There’s very little I can say that others haven’t done by now praising its animation style. So good that others are getting inspired by it and it’s making the medium greater. A fantastic soundtrack from which I still her some tracks to this day. Overall it’s one of my favorite films ever, certainly my favorite Spider-Man one and just like Mary Jane said:

With this I finally end all of the DC showcases that they’ve put out throughout the years. Such a shame their not willing to showcase (no pun intended) more obscure characters with their small stories these days. It’s all about profit these days not knowing that these small snippets bring attention to your characters. I know very little of the Death in DC lore but this was an excellent way of introducing her to people. A struggling artist who has lost his motivation and everything he holds dear and we follow him along for one last painting. Very clever to see Death just moments before some characters die and sometimes not bringing attention to it. While short it definitely was very impactful. Almost shed a tear when she looked back at his finished painting. Solid short watch and here’s hoping one day DC picks this idea of showcases back up.

P.s. Death as a goth is a damn good choice!

Unique, weird, imaginative and visually striking are some of the first words that come to mind after seeing this. An anthology film utilizing robots in different ways to impact the story is a very unique idea. One that works for the most part across the length of the film. Personally the standouts for me were Star Light Angel and Presence because their the ones that blended all the pieces together the best for me. But I can surely say that all around the animation and the different art styles were stellar. In addition, most of the segments had some good music backing them. Where do I even start with such a powerful movie like this one. Easy to say that Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet were acting their hearts out. Absolutely outstanding performances that carry this movie to insane heights. I also think showing the story a bit out of order was excellent to make us try to piece together what happened in the past and what was happening in the present. A story that was truly as heartwarming as it was devastating. Because the audience knows that Joel and Clementine are a lovely couple and want to see them be together. But we also know that both of them have their flaws that can break all of it a part in an instant. Once again I can safely say that MHA delivers an action packed and fun movie. Let me begin by pointing out that the animation team cooked really hard during all the action sequences. They were so fluent and badass all around, giving a lot of characters great moments. There’s a small portion in the middle that many will probably say that was very slow. However the montage around the middle with Midoriya and Rody was absolutely so relaxing with the music and art teams going to town. For that reason alone I’ll forgive the slow middle point. Now moving to the villian of the film, for me this was the weakest out of the ones in the movies so far. While he did have a cool quirk he was a little bland. I have to give credit to John Krasinski, because I’ve quite enjoyed these films. Just with the opening I can see why they made their most recent entry. Such a fantastic idea of sound being your worst enemy it’s quite a premise. Here for the second I love the inclusion of Cillian Murphy alongside the previous cast. The only thing I would have a complain about was the dumb decision they made with Marcus. It felt a bit forced to cause one of the monsters to arrive. Easy to say that the sound is exceptional and all the performances are very solid. Altogether to me this is a very solid and worthy sequel, really hope if they make a third Cillian s the cast.

Fuck me, this shit destroyed me… I firmly believe that animation it’s the best form of storytelling. The more and more that the medium gets explored and used to present such interesting and diverse stories just shows why it’s the best. I’m honestly saddened that it’s considered by so many as a way to tell kids to just children. In just under one hour this made me firmly believe in the friendship of a lifetime. How the simple act of drawing brought Fujino and Kyomoto together to grow their ion for manga together. Such a simple concept carried by the excellent characters, voice acting and art. Simply a delightful, heartwarming and heartbreaking story with fantastic animation and excellent score. I simply can’t recommend it enough!
