◽ La segunda entrega de Duna es más grande, más épica, más íntima completando la transformación emocional de los personajes convirtiéndose en un impecable lienzo de arte y pura ciencia ficción que da un nuevo sentido a su primera entrega y al camino de Paul Atreides. Denis Villeneuve firma una magnífica obra de una escala monumental y dimensiones bíblicas. Una experiencia inmersiva, apasionante, devastadora y una banda sonora en manos de Hans Zimmer impecable y abordando temas profundos como el imperialismo, el colonialismo, la religiosidad y el amor, también con ideas de manipulación social, de fanatismo, de fé y supervivencia.
Dune: Parte Dos, es majestuosa visualmente. Hay escenas memorables: las cabalgatas de gusanos gigantes a través del desierto son innovadoras y peculiares. Sabe sacar partido de la inmensidad del desierto, de la naturaleza enigmática de estos extensos territorios desérticos. El entorno desértico ayuda a comprender la psicología de los personajes. La narrativa tiene fuertes temas religiosos : se habla de un Mesías, de profecías, de rituales místicos y que a la vez es inseparable a toda lucha de poder, se maneja la intriga política sutil para afianzar posiciones e implementar estrategias militares.
Todos estos aspectos son unidos magistralmente. Un filme de casi tres horas que no decae en ningún momento. Al contrario, conforme avanza, el interés se incrementa y la narrativa cada vez crece.

Denis Villeneuve signs a magnificent work of monumental scale and biblical dimensions. An immersive, thrilling, devastating experience with an impeccable soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, addressing deep themes such as imperialism, colonialism, religiosity, and love, also exploring ideas of social manipulation, fanaticism, faith, and survival.
Dune: Part Two, is visually majestic. There are memorable scenes: the rides of giant sandworms through the desert are innovative and peculiar. It knows how to take advantage of the vastness of the desert, the enigmatic nature of these extensive desert territories. The desert environment helps understand the psychology of the characters. The narrative has strong religious themes: there's talk of a Messiah, prophecies, mystical rituals, all inseparable from power struggles, with subtle political intrigue to solidify positions and implement military strategies.
All these aspects are masterfully woven together. A nearly three-hour film that never wanes. On the contrary, as it progresses, the interest increases and the narrative continues to grow.
