I haven't made a Letterboxd review in almost ten years and I had to (reset pwd and everything) specifically so that I could warn anyone else who thinks it is a valid idea to watch this to not watch this. Hooooly crap it is bad. So bad. Not entertainment bad though which would have been a redeeming feature. Maybe it wasn't bad in 2015? IDK. It's bad now. Don't.

Watching this movie brought me right back. Back to the innocent age of 8 watching NTSC porn on a PAL video machine in Max Boniface's downstairs room. The visual information was better but the content was worse on every level. Let me start with the sound. Rumor has it the technician went to Slayer the night before doing the release track in a one-take. For the 42 horrifying minutes I spent viewing 'Bending all the rules (of cinema)' I understood what it is to have choclear implants. I could audibly visualise the density change of the studio wall as the camera panned, a side effect of the freaky sonar like response to the cavernous echo stemming from my 2" standard-as television speakers. Who the fuck was this clever man? A beautiful replication of porn-shoot boom control. This is where the half star comes from. The empty stars are the result of, in no particular order, fucking crap acting, hyper-botoxed lips, zero plot and inane continuity. To make it even better they added a 1996 soundtrack. I don't know why. Why? It was set in present day, which was 2002 at the time. Please can someone tell Video Ezy that a 2002 movie does not belong in 'Latest Releases'. What the fuck is this movie? If you accidentally rent this in an attempt to appease your wife I offer you this: surprise cockfag!

SHIT THE BED. I put this shit on and stared at it for fifteen minutes. I was lying on the sofa face down on top of my arms. A bunch of internalizing went down in my dome - should I move so I can turn this shit off or am I that lazy. Turns out I am slovenly as fuck, and thank fuck for that! This movie is fucking awesome! It's a Freddy Got Fingered. The first twenty minutes go past and you question the sanity of the fool who funded the film, and then you get it - and it all becomes insanely funny. Maybe that's the point where the weed kicks in. Who knows? All I know is that my fat lazy ass saved me from missing this brilliant film. Spoiler alert - the dudes mouth is massive, this will totally fuck with your head. I still can't work out if it's CG or not. He could fit a foot long in that fucker.

I am still quite happy about watching this film. Recommended trader ++ quick response!

Awesome movie killer casting.

I accidentally Tivod this and watched it when there was nothing left on disk. I was actually surprised! This movie didn't suck at all! Good story, great locations, very America ~ Anna Kendrick was a nice touch there. Something about her face makes me want to beat a pillow with a cricket bat while wearing a ski mask.

ROFL Val Kilmer isn't a potato! I forgot what this film was like. After ten minutes I felt pseudo-baked, so I did the job properly and it made the never ending stream of inane poetry somewhat poetic.

Pretty slick! I was prenatal but it feels like it captures the essence of the period. Hell I was straight to iTunes for the album :D The girls were total results of method actors in this film, but Michael Shannon absolutely fucking owned his role.

20 minutes of interesting followed by 76 minutes of fecking around on the iPad. Semi Whore is showing her freckles big time. Also, I couldn't stop thinking of David's sexually dubious history as (spoiler alert) the daughter was trying to hump his leg. That was the 20 good minutes. The rest was an OK 6 beer experience.

England has Guy Ritchie; apparently America has Guy Smiley. This film should be used in film studies.

It's like expecting a John Grisham and getting a Wilbur Smith; both shit outcomes.

I made it to around 36 minutes . This Herzog fellow owes me 36 minutes of life.

An entire squaggle of middlers 'stepped up' for this all time classic romp. On the downside this is no 'Honey. Some of the chicks looked like they should be en-fenced. All is not lost however, this version shits on 'Step Up' and 'Step Up Two - Take It To The Streets', although the latter has a much much cooler name.

In summary, 'Step Up 3 - Take It Back Inside' has enough side boob and velour derrière to enrapture boys from 12.5+
