cant lie and say this is great filmmaking as it leans too much into melodrama bottling up emotions but never really letting any of it out but man this made me smile for half an hour straight at least and it made me sad too — id say it is effective in what it is trying to say at least — and it was also very refreshing to see so many things i have never seen in japanese cinema either…
Hello, back in 2017 I made this surreal experimental amateur 1 minute short film for Art History class called "A Percepção do Eu e a Não Percepção do Tempo" which translates to The Perception of Self and Non-Perception of Time". It is an intersemiotic translation of Salvador Dali's The Persistence of Memory and it analyses nascissism through the eyes of an imaginary creature, and the idea of loneliness and that time is fluid.
