i am your father

holy fucking shit. they really took everything that was so good about the first movie and somehow made it even better. everything in this movie is absolutely perfect, from the writing, the acting, the cinematography, that beautiful score, i really could not find any faults at all. darth vader is truly one of the greatest fictional villains in cinematic history. the influence and effect it had on pop culture and so many other movies is still felt today, and no wonder, cause who wouldn't want to be inspired by this masterpiece.

You don't have to pay with him, you paid enough

still as amazing as the first time i saw it. peoples main complaint about this movie is that its too long but that ain't the case for me cause time flies when i'm watching it. i'll never get tired of watching this masterpiece of a movie. counting down the days till october 3rd 2025.

relax luther, it's much worse than you think.

an incredible start to one of the best movie franchises. brian de palma's directing was so good in this, there were some camera shots that i was still in awe of even though i've already watched this. tom cruise shows how no one else could've done ethan hunt like him since the very first one and i love his character so much. also an extremely entertaining watch and got some really cool spy stuff that the others don't really have.

a dancer who relies upon the doubtful comforts of human love can never be a great dancer. never.

a movie that was so far and ahead of its time its insane to think that this was made in the 40s. clearly served as a source of inspiration for black swan in of giving your all to your craft and the lengths you go for it. the visuals are absolutely gorgeous, so full of colour and the music is so beautiful. that ballet sequence especially, felt like a dream. truly just incredible and so ahead of its time.

what the fucks going on

an actual travesty of a movie. there isn't a single thing that actually works in this movie, except for jenna ortega being a good actress. now i like the weeknd's songs, in fact he's easily one of my current favourite artists, but damn does the guy not know how to act. if you had told me this was directed by a cardboard box i would've believed you. the writing was laughable and made the movie feel even more dragging. easily and obviously worst movie of the year so far.
