Wow. Science fiction at its finest. If for some people this wasn't true before Dune: Part Two came out, Denis Villeneuve solidified himself as one of the best directors of this generation (for me, Top 3). I'm still processing it but for now, I'm just grateful for experiencing yet another masterpiece from this ridiculously talented director. One of those rare films that live up to the hype. I went in with high expectations and it did not disappoint me at all. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t watch this in the theaters. Best film of the year so far and just an unreal experience.

The biopic genre is very complicated due to the difficulty to narrate real life events and unfortunately I think this film could’ve done more justice to Bob Marley.
