probably the last time I intend on watching this in theaters for the foreseeable future. kinda spent the whole runtime picking apart bits and pieces that make dune so good. the noises javier bardem makes, the incredible sound design throughout, dave bautista, the choir as the emperor's ship descends from orbit, the punch you feel from the imax sound whenever the Voice is used, it all just works into something that has constantly made me want to come back, and to sometimes take the train for an hour just to see it. im happy to finally be at this moment where i can see this movie in theaters, but i think im all dune-d out. for now.
