Man, Pedro Pascal is SO fine.
The rest of the movie is Meh. Lots of plot holes & lack of character development. Like... Paul Mescal's Lucius is one minute hating on a Rome and his mother... then the next, he's like "I LOVE ROME! Everything for Rome! I LOVE MY MOM." Where did that come from!!? I have NO idea where that came from. There was NO development.

I'm really sad to say that this movie hurts.
I tried really hard to enjoy it for what it was, but there were too many plot holes that didn't feel fulfilling or didn't work.
The action sequences were great, which I expected from director Jonathan Eusebio, a former stuntman and fight choreographer. I was also impressed with the fight choreography. It was exciting to watch.

The artwork, production, story adaptation, and acting were just beautiful. It's a story about finding family and developing empathy. We are more than what is expected of us, and we can grow. I love the themes. Also, I don't like to cry, but -- damn, it made me tear up.
