the end credits started and i sat there thinking, was it...was it just a movie? was it really just a movie this whole time? and i walked so slowly down the middle of the almost empty amc theater past seven other auditoriums and hearing snippets of other movies' scenes, thinking, is this...is this a movie? everything was different, uncanny, a trippy carnival ride that i'd ridden one too many times, and i felt like i was the only one alive…

very slow, deliberate, close, thoughtful. it's a beautiful and unique experience, as it absolutely should be. not dramatized as drastically as i worried it would be.
