]]>Totoro is just such an easy lazy Sunday morning film, isn’t it?
]]>Let’s be real, Manu was a pro zombie killer. Him and Pablo could’ve survived this if the reporter wasn’t there I reckon.
(I love this film, top tier found footage, top tier zombies)
]]>Did al Pacino go full nick cage or has nick cage been going full al Pacino all this time
]]>I women’s rights, wrongs, and everything in between
]]>I think this film holds up so well partially bc the picture quality is grainier. Some films are TOO HD now, you can’t hide anything. This is also just a scary depiction of everything breaking down and what people (men) will do in those times
]]>This was maybe a bit too long, but overall an interesting premise. Do wish the story had been ironed out a little more, though
]]>This was so gothic, so visceral, so *stunning in a weird way* and I never want to watch it ever again
]]>Probably one of my most rewatched comfort horror movies. It has religion, 90s aesthetics, a great soundtrack, attractive leads!
]]>Idk why I agreed to rewatch this KNOWING how sad it made me the first time
]]>My favourite part was where Harrison Fords hair randomly went back to its natural colour halfway through after he’d dyed it
]]>I think this is the most *fun* of the Ghibli films, yes it’s got all the usual heart and coziness but really it’s just fun muscly pirates fighting muscly miners, soldiers, EVERYONE. A+ for some pure joyous action
]]>So glad I don’t have premonitions cause I would’ve been so gutted if that ending had been ruined
]]>Terrible CGI, terrible acting, terrible lines. Still wouldn’t skip it for rewatching the series
]]>Ending the film with another premonition? Bosh, she ate.
]]>No wonder Jennifer Jareau doesn’t talk about her past
]]>A classic, really
]]>Miyazaki has truly been saying since the 80s, “here’s a beautiful and haunting perspective on how if we keep killing the world it’s gonna kill us”
]]>Well I didn’t turn it off so that’s something
]]>Watched this many moons again and decided to rewatch. It’s such an interesting take to interview/put locals in this position to tell this story with no… expertise on the case. They speak from their own experiences and what they of the case and it’s just makes for such an interesting watch, although not a documentary in the traditional sense.
Shoutout to the bondage police man too, he was just vibing
]]>Havoc by name, havoc by nature
(I couldn’t tell you a thing about the plot of this film)
It’s so silly but will I watch it again and again probably
]]>Every now and then I get cravings to rewatch this and I enjoy it every time I do
]]>Another of the “demons just wanna go viral too” genre and I hope they never stop
]]>Rewatching for like the fourth time I still really enjoy this films vibe and silliness
]]>(Watched the 2025 remaster) what a hauntingly gorgeous piece of art and history
]]>Dutch Marich is getting stronger and stronger with each of these in of storytelling and atmosphere. I was *clutching* my blanket for the last ten minutes
]]>This still holds up so well as a really creepy piece of media
]]>Beautifully shot, scored and acted.
]]>Such an unsettling but also beautiful watch.
]]>Found the pacing and balance of documentary/found footage much better than the first, although was confused why they stopped exploring the Minnie story. Very tense, though and sub80 mins makes it a good watch still!
]]>This movie does a great job of feeling like summer break, of not having a care in the world as that world crumbles around you; right up until the point it fully steals the last of your innocence. God, the feelings.
]]>Very bang average easy little horror
]]>A slow tantalising burn. Some brilliant transitions and she really said “if I can convince board with my presenting skills, I can sure as shit convince you”
]]>Needed more silly supernatural action, but overall very fun
]]>Such a gloriously and gloriously uncomfortable film
]]>Fun little anthology, bonus points for being north-east England set/acted.
]]>This was in some ways very silly, and a little OTT, but also fantastically well written. It was love/desire in little moments, so cleverly written and beautiful.
]]>Ok this was actually p scary, and VERY well done
]]>This film felt important. It was heartwarming and charming and absolutely beautifully shot and every time “as himself” came up I wanted to cry a little more.
]]>Very silly
]]>What a fantastically shot, well written movie.
]]>Bloody good isn’t he, that Osgood fella
]]>Silly silly
]]>George Civeris’ review of this film made me give it more stars. But fr the plot is wild
]]>Watched on Sunday March 2, 2025.
]]>Watched on Saturday March 1, 2025.
]]>Beautiful soundtrack, very fun
]]>Is this film not very good? Yes. Will I probably rewatch it again one day when I’m tired and need to switch my brain off as I have done this time and at least twice before? Also yes.
]]>This was such a lovely look at the life and career of Martin Parr, not only told from his own point of view, but that of his friends and associates. With brilliant high quality images of his work interlaced with almost parodical film shots of the same locations or even the man himself cheekily going about his way, it was just like his work, extraordinary in the ordinary.
