Leon Dilger’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Edge of Tomarrow" is the clone yeah, but also the upgrade.
"Source Code" has the idea that I love and which I find very interesting and entertaining. The implementation of the idea is also great like in "Edge of Tomarrow". Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my favourite actors, he never misses like in this movie. I also think this slowly building romance was very charming and with a huge chemistry. The resolution of the movie is also very appropriate and cleverly solved.
Even though the movie is good, it doesn't reach the level of an "Edge of Tomarrow" because the suspense isn't that great, the visual effects look bad at times and because the movie builds up a story with 90 minutes with no character development and no interesting characters.
7,3/10 for 3½ stars.
