Oh no it’s hurts
]]>Regardless if it’s not the scariest movie I’ve seen, the pacing is done really well. Better than a lot of movies across genres. I would say this movie is really well directed even if the script leaves a bit to be desired.
]]>God this bear is so silly
]]>Good horror film, don’t think I ever want to watch again though. I do wish it explored some more unique identities to set itself apart, but I find the acting and overall script quite steady and good. A few scenes had me jumping, but it’s nowhere near the most terrifying thing I’ve seen.
]]>Only mildly realistic and at a surface point at times, yes, at times some uninspiring dialogue and dynamics, but I find myself impressed by this film nevertheless. To me, this is a standard of what sci-fi and space films should be, but it’d be nice if it wasn’t slightly spoiled by the Hollywoodness of it all, if that makes sense . I feel like this film had more potential, but nevertheless it says something great about Nolan if both things can be true at the same time. This film is not just about space though, at its core it’s about humankind and human connections.
]]>Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig both really have breakthrough dramatic roles. I liked this movie and it represented depression in a real way, but the overall plot falls short at times. Solid 3/5
]]>This movie made me say “If that was me, I’d shoot myself” about every 30 seconds. Despite this movie being categorized as comedy I find it more of a physiological horror. We love a bi-queen though frfr.
]]>This has got to be one of the most underrated 80s horror movies I’ve seen. Comical premise but well scripted, acted, and actually pretty decent body horror/kill scenes. Had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
]]>This poor duckling :( he’s not even ugly smh. Love how the parents argued in duck if they were cheating on eachother, lol.
]]>Snitches get sweaters
]]>Holy Fock this movie is mid
]]>Despite it being basically a rehash of the first film from Timon and Pumbas perspective, this movie is one of the more enjoyable spin offs.
]]>I’m not sobbing, you are.
]]>This is wild to me, because the original Hunchback of Notre Dame might be one of disneys most slept on movie. So come to find out, this is like if Disney asked Temu to make a sequel. The music, the animation, the voice acting, the jokes. All truly terrible. We all know direct to sequels by Disney are not the best, but this is one of the worst. Don’t ask me what happened because I already forget by the end of this review.
]]>Cute, it didn’t stand out to me compared to some Disney movies but I still enjoyed it.
]]>Pro rat propaganda, I’m here for it, I love remy.
]]>Automatic 5 stars cause I live in Nola but also heartbreaking documentary.
]]>Yeah okay it’s probably not the best written film ever but Jesus does Mia Goth put on such a dramatic performance and decent into madness. It’s not particularly horrifying nor does it need to be. Also girl, I feel you, I also want to go to Europe rn 😭 fuck the farm smh
]]>Actually surprised this movie has anything above 2 stars. Only thing cool about it is the concept. The execution was embarrassingly terrible and I do not care about this family. I honestly kept dozing off during it and if you asked me to recall half this movie or be purged I guess I’d be fucked. I’m usually generous with horror movies but this one of those truly atrocious movies and I’m uninterested in the remaining series.
]]>I only have a vague memory for the first movie which I have not logged since I have very little recollection of it.
I’m not sure this stands up to even a lot of episodes, but maybe I have an affinity for classic SpongeBob. There were a few good jokes that hit but I think they took some “cinematic liberties” that just weren’t needed for SpongeBob.
Overall, it does deliver some classic “SpongeBob” moments but I find myself yearning to rewatch classic episodes rather than this movie again.

]]>Odd to me that people like this. Sure it does some body horror decently, but the acting was atrocious, the plot was silly and there’s scarier clown movies, and it was a pain to get through. One of the worst horror movies I’ve seen so far.
]]>This movie is devastating and bleak, especially considering recent events. It’s hard not to lose hope in humanity and it’s bizarre to me that the world cannot face some fundamental truths. This may not be the best movie ever but the story it tells is really important.
]]>Not my cup of tea 🤷♂️
]]>It wasn’t super horrifying for me, maybe even a. Little silly at times. But it was entertaining and the acting was pretty solid. Fuck that kid though, I mean I feel for him, but Christ 😭
]]>The chefs a rat in Paris. What else to say. 5/5. Can’t believe I waited this long to watch.
]]>This movie is ridiculously unique, well written, fast paced and genuinely horrifying at times. This is a cult classic. I have trepidations about generative AI in film, however it is only for brief seconds, so half a star removed for that. This is one of those films for me I wish I could watch for the first time again.
]]>Cute, good catchy music, doesn’t particularly stand out to me compared to other Disney films, but it’s good nevertheless.
]]>Beautiful story with cute characters and really great animation. I loved it.
]]>Michael Scott is a bit different in this one
]]>Those sheep just get up to no good but the dog was smart. the end.
]]>The breaking of the fourth wall, the songs, the overall subtle comedy that any age could enjoy. If there is a peak muppet movie, it might be this.
]]>Ponyo is underrated as hell, truly encapsulates childhood love, even for things more than just human. Ghibli hardly misses at creating a visually stunning world in its movies and this is no exception. Every shot is beautiful. The mom needs her drivers license revoked though.
]]>I liked Rob Zombies but this is arguably better. I can find some problems with this franchise, movie and overall premise and theming but I don’t take it serious enough for that. The acting and cinematography was pretty solid though.
]]>Underrated possibly, absurd at times, but it’s a slasher. I think it’s best not to waste time comparing it between the original. I’m just not sure the childhood scenes make sense or add much to the plot. They paint it as bullying/ mental illness/abuse/poverty but in the second half the movie Michael has superpowers and seems to just kill without thought. In some ways it’s frustrating because there was definitely more potential here.
]]>I have a feeling Ron Howard, who’s lived in California the majority of life, is the best pick to direct a movie about Appalachia. I haven’t read the source material and don’t have an interest. Regardless of politics, what could have been a strong story about Appalachia and its challenges, ended up just being fodder to JD’s beliefs on the American Dream. What could have been a real depiction of addiction and its effects and causes, was a shell of it. What could have been a good reflection of generational trauma just seems to miss the mark.
In concept I want a movie like this to work and I simultaneously want it to be the polar opposite of this. Still though, not the worst thing I’ve watched. But pretty bad.
]]>Sequel is better than the original but it’s still a cliche teen camp slasher movie. even if it helped define those movies. At least we actually see Jason this time.
]]>The stupidest kids you know get murdered by a prolific killer who wears a mask and is like supernatural also if someone ever warns me not to go to a lake I’m bouncing homie
]]>What the hell?
]]>Kind of underrated, not sure what’s up with really low ratings, it’s a typical early 2000s movie. I honestly find the dynamics in the movie pretty good but the pace and overall plot is pretty average.
]]>Gwar is badass, good documentary.
]]>Pretty bad, but I’m from NJ, have been learning Japanese, like horror movies and have spent time in a Tokyo. Basically this movie was written about me except he’s a little more handsome and strong. I haven’t seen any other movies in the series or by this director, so I will see if my rating changes with that.
]]>Spooky music, creepy man, simple but effective plot. Enjoyable and a bit of a silly watch.

]]>Somebody call 911-shawty fire burning on the dance floor.
]]>Watched on Tuesday September 17, 2024.
]]>Better than I expected, good horror cult movie. I may not sleep tonight.
]]>Goated found footage film. One of the best I've seen in the genre.
]]>Madeline Brewer put on a performance but the plot was a bit absurd though it did unlock a fear I didnt know I had.
]]>I enjoyed it, though the plot was maybe a bit predictable at times and it was a little long, the visual effects were great and it definitely had its moments.
