A halo of dot clouds surrounds the principal character, a young woman, who then seems to carry within her a fragment of the soul of the one who stole her identity. The flashy colors and the blend of gore, flowers, and existential and philosophical questioning are quite effective and fascinating. I really loved the pregnancy body horror in the childbirth / death scene. I also found the transition between shots very original, with the appearance of miniatures (animated photographs in the story) that then take over the full space of the screen. Exactly the kind of #short I love.

With elegant simplicity, Lupino navigates between different s, notably film noir, without ever limiting itself to a specific genre.
