The subtle double high five rejection that Scotty J receives was truly painful and hilarious altogether.
Another great touch was the constant jumping that the guys did while they were at Rahad’s house when the kid kept throwing the poppers on the ground. So alarming and tense, yet funny.

I wanted them to explore the downfalls a bit more, but a very good story.

The creativity is great, but otherwise the remaining aspects of the film are run-of-the-mill.
Definitely extra points for Robert Pattinson. And also Naomi Ackie. No points for Mark Ruffalo though.

Didn’t know The Weeknd was playing himself until about 25 minutes in. He’s not really cut out for acting. At least he knows how to make a good song.
Pretty good sound design and some nice visuals within the cinematography, but otherwise a very weak film.

This movie is chilling, gripping, and felt realistic (but what do I know?).
I always love a stacked cast, and you definitely get a young one here.
Great directing again by Alex Garland. Not complaining about his current yearly release at this point. Need to check out his other work.
Pretty surprised that this sits at my (current) number one spot for 2025 releases, especially towards the middle of the year, but it really is a great project.

This cast is full of future Academy awards, that’s how you know it’s magic. I always wanted to watch an MLB game in a tree with some binoculars because of this movie. Loved seeing the (now) vintage logos and jerseys of actual MLB teams.
