Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription is MORE SPICE! 

I was a fan of Denis Villeneuve’s first interpretation of Dune, and I’m happy to say that this was a pretty decent follow up to the first movie!

The beginning definitely took a while to get going, but once it did I was hooked. The cinematography rivals the original movie with beautiful shots of Arrakis, not to mention my favorite scene in the movie with the arena on Giedi Prime. Florence Pugh was a good addition to the cast and Christopher Walken wasn’t too distracting as the Emperor. But by far the most enjoyable performance is from Austin Butler whose just having a ton of fun!

This was a great conclusion to this first story and I enjoyed it way more than Part 1! And I think since this is based off of the first Dune novel, the best way to view these movies is to watch them back to back as one epic.

Pretty solid sci-fi movie while slow at first, it was a great second act for anyone who was a fan of the first Dune!
