I have to give credit for the makers of this film that they even attempted to make a film with such a insane plot.
This film for me feels like the makers wanted to do their first sci-fi movie and then throw every insane idea into it. This gives a whole other meaning to go fuck yourself.

This is generic cop goes undercover to take down the mob action film but it works because of Arnold.
It is paced well, there aren't any boring stretches there is always something happening. I really enjoyed it.

This is about depression and anxiety and i feel that it illustrates it quite well. It is also about being abel to open up about themselves to others and fitting in and I saw alot of myself in the Fran character.
I like the office characters they are so distinct and anyone who has worked in a office can recognize their coworkers from them.
It made me want to eat cottage cheese 😄

That was a movie.
I loved Orlok,he was a force of nature. I liked his design, his voice, I liked that his shadow both figurative and "physical" was all over this movie from the beginning.
The possession scenes where something else, give Lily Rose Depp the oscar for them alone. These where so intense, raw, creepy and a joy to watch really.
The only real criticism I have is at times It felt too slow and could do with some tightening up.
But all in all I really enjoyed it and it is a surprise christmas film now.

This movie is written and acted by aliens. The soundtrack is from a David Lynch film.
There are so many twists in the plot that turn this movie to a borderline parody.

This is a beautiful film thanks to the glory of technicolor. Every single item of clothing, autumn leaves just pops out of the screen.
The use of shadow and light also keeps this visually interesting and at times I was thinking I was watching a noir film for the heavy use of shadow.
This is a good example how you can elevate a simple love story through visuals, if it were to be shot plainly and flatly I don't think it would have been so memorable.
This is not to say that story isn't interesting, it is. Story about class, being socially proper, age, loneliness. But there seems to me that the story skips steps or moves to fast to hit certain beats that this kind of movie has to have. There isn't enough time devoted to show us why the two main characters love each other.

I like to believe this is sequel to blue is the warmest color and Adele still can't catch a break.
The main charachter is someone who can't change or is unwilling to change he does what he wants not really caring what those actions do to people around him.
He tries to control his life like a movie director, directing people like actors.
The charachter dosen't learn anything by the end and I guess that is the point but the viewer does hopefully.
