Just as good in laser IMAX (1.90:1) as it was in 70mm IMAX. Absolutely stunning.

Was really struck by the similarities to Star Wars the second time around. Lucas was clearly heavily inspired by Dune, right down to a prophecy resulting in “the chosen one” inciting a war / genocide. It goes without saying that Villeneuve’s two Dune films are just a bit better than the prequel trilogy, though.
