Another rewatch and it just continues to be an awe-inspiring masterpiece that will always be up there with my favourites of all time. Denis Villeneuve, without any doubt, has solidified himself as a master of Science Fiction filmmaking, Dune, Arrival and Blade Runner are proof.

A glorious score, a top class of performances from all of the cast, a compelling narrative, stupendous costume and set designs with staggering visuals that have you glued to the screen for every second. This movie is ambitious and executed impeccably, leaving its' mark on generations to come. The cinematography and the action sequences are what really leave me astonished each time, a monumental work of art to say the very least. The scale of this is simply magnificent.

On rewatches, I do find myself wishing a few more characters were explored more within this movie but this doesn't take away from anything at all as it is the second movie within the trilogy so there is more to come and plenty of arcs to be fulfilled. I cannot wait to see more motives, influences and conflicts to come to the screen in Messiah eventually.
