Happy Back to the Future Day, everyone!

In my opinion, this is the greatest film trilogy ever made. Everything from the craftsmanship, the concept, the exploration of time travel and its many consequences, the characters, performances, mixture of comedy, romance, heart, adventure, sci-fi, and thrills, the tension filled climaxes, Alan Silvestri's catchy and iconic musical score, the mind-blowing special effects, it's all fucking amazing and truly quite special. Something that had stood the test of time, made a lasting impact…

Iron Man 3 is not just a fun, entertaining, action-packed, visually stunning superhero movie. It's more than that. So, here are the reasons why I love it.

1: It's a Christmas movie. That was released during spring. Which makes it all the better.

2: It's a brilliant character drama about Tony Stark. To be honest, this is my favorite version of this character. He still displays his charismatic, sarcastic, asshole persona, but after the events of The Avengers, he's now…

A whole eight episode arc that centers on my favorite "Adventure Time" character Marceline the Vampire Queen? Oh, yeah. This was dope as hell.

I love me some nice detailed backstory and lore expansion, and this special totally lived up with that. Add to that there's also several banger songs, some much-needed humor and weirdness, nice emotional *stakes* (pun extremely intended), a satisfying end, and great chemistry between the characters. Finn and Jake are an excellent duo and Marceline and Princess Bubblegum are a cute couple.

Twisted, crazy, hilarious, anxiety inducing, and honestly pretty badass. They didn't need to go so hard with this one. And Hollywood should really make more secret prequels and sequels. That ending was nuts.

Question: How can a movie with a superb cast, a neat color scheme, amped up tension, subtle comedic timing, heartfelt moments, a sweet love story and a killer soundtrack be so perfectly brilliant?

The answer: Cause Edgar Wright is a fucking genius.

Damn. I didn't think "Edward Scissorhands" would really stick with me this deeply to the point where I'm completely speechless and I'm still processing it almost an hour after I rewatched it. It's such a remarkable, mesmerizing and thought-provoking fairy tale with a wonderful balance of a dark gothic atmosphere and legitimately great humor, compelling themes about isolation, self-discovery and the struggles of being in a different environment, captivating performances, beautiful music, and a wild imagination.

Gosh, I love Tim Burton.
