Me, 30 minutes in: "How is anya taylor joy not in this?"
Me, over an hour later: "Oh."
Fuckin' stunner. Makes me wanna lower my rating of the first film by like three stars. Sorta like having your head kicked in by Blowin' In the Wind and then somebody plays Blood On the Tracks for you.
Of all the things there are to go gaga for, I actually could not get over how letter perfect the casting was. And Chalamet, who I already thought was great, really takes a colossal leap forward as an actor as far as I'm concerned. (I'm sure he'll be elated to read this!)
