Smartest thing Marx Bros. did was ditch Thelma Todd and bring back Dumont.
Thelma just didn’t sit right with me in the last two films. Dumont always looks like she is having a blast with the Marx’s goofy asses, but at the same time could easily put them in their place.
Meanwhile, Thelma just seems like a studio plant.
Even smarter move for this film was the inclusion of Raquel Torres!…

Im sorry, but I’m not believing for once sec that Chico’s dumbass and my boy Harpo are football players.
Marx bros. lost the plot on this one. Perhaps that was the joke, maybe audiences back then couldn’t fathom Chico’s dumbass being a football player either.
Which I don’t think the it’s the concept that doesn’t work, because I think someone like Ernest could very easily go to a HS and be a football…

Donnie Muthafuggin’ Yen!!!!
For some reason Yen only likes to play blind characters when he does US movies apparently. Stahelski said just play Chirrut Imwe, but in a closer galaxy.
Highlights:
The club scene fight with Scott Adkins in a fat suit. I didn’t even know it was him until the credit rolled.
Everything with Donnie Yen ofc!

4DX is definitely the way to see this movie. I’m sure IMAX is amazing as well. But being in those seats makes you feel like your right in the cockpit with them.
This is what you get when everyone is committed to the product.
I didn’t expect anything less from Joseph Kosinski. He killed it with Tron and again with Oblivion.
Cast and crew really put their all into it.
