The creative direction on this film was impeccable. The editing, artificial surroundings, score, dialogues and bodily performances all working together to exaggerate the internal feelings of isolation and fear from men who all purport themselves to be confident to compensate. I don’t know why it took me so long to get around to this but I’m so impressed with the diversity of approach Luca takes to telling queer stories, all feeling uniquely different but with the same underlining cinematic themes. …
