All this did was piss me off

A lot of reliance on nostalgia here which I suppose is fine but it felt like a play by play of A New Hope except it’s not as compelling. It almost makes Return of the Jedi feel obsolete. The rebel alliance effectively destroyed the empire and yet they somehow managed to rebuild into the first order and overmatch the resistance..? This was fun at face value but otherwise I don’t get it. Great cinematography and always a treat to see 3po and r2 though!
