Filmmaker from The Bay

I wasn’t expecting to be left in the theater feeling so touched. As the credits scrolled, I saw the names of folks I’ve worked with multiple times in the past, and then I saw names of people whom I really close with. Wrapped up in a catalogue of rushing memories that were evoked from the subtiles & details of this film down to even 105.3fm.

I love that the film showcases how Women are an integral part of these resistance movements across the world against oppressive colonial power, notably I think of Vietnam.
