Simply incredible on every single level. The cinematography & that score are among some of my favourite ever.

EVERY performance was top level, Heath Ledger really was taken from us way too early :/ Michelle Williams, WOW, but of course this just takes Jake Gyllenhaal even further ahead as my GOAT.

I really didn’t expect this to impact me just as much as it did but, it really pulled on my heart strings the whole way.

Masterpiece.

Spider-Man 2

If you think this is the greatest film of all time I wouldn’t argue against it. If you think the first Spider-Man is the greatest film of all time I also wouldn’t argue against it.

Those are the levels Sam Raimi operates at.

A MUCH NEEDED REWATCH! Fuck me, that was special, running out of words to describe Tom Cruise!

Stacked cast all performing for a fucking brilliant level, stunts crazier than ever, broken ankles, helicopter chases, stunning landscapes, beautiful lighting and a real tear jerker. Stupendous stuff!

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation

★★★★ Rewatched

Feel like a broken record at this point because Tom Cruise is just the fucking GOAT. The movie star, that thing he does where he simply rides a motorbike and looks cool af, yeah I love it.

This film is my second favourite from these rewatches, the inclusion of Sean Harris & Rebecca Ferguson was brilliant. Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg & Jeremy Renner are the only team mates you could ever ask for.

So many incompetent fucks involved in this case.

I had my doubts & I was genuinely expecting a very middle of the round level film, but I fucking loved this so much.

Timothée Chalamat is a brilliant casting for Wonka, I really bought into it. The rest of the cast are just great too, might be the funniest film of the year.

Looked amazing, set design was off the charts & the music slapped.

Just fucking great, would happily go to watch it again tomorrow & I really really hope they do another because I will be there first day no doubt about it.
