Late to the party, but wow. This was absolutely stunning on every level. A new American epic. The way it uses horror and music to reinforce the importance of Black art in America’s history and culture is so refreshing and inspiring.

Beau Is Afraid is nothing short of phenomenal. Such a unique blend of horror and dark comedy. Just an unforgettable theatrical experience. It’s a thought-provoking epic that explores guilt, manipulation, and paranoia in an unbelievably surrealistic and interpretive way, and I am not afraid to say that I loved every moment of it.

An enthralling sci fi epic for the ages; this generation’s “Empire Strikes Back.” Everything about this story and the way it’s told is just unreal.
