Did Meryl Streep carry this move on her shoulders? ABSOLUTELY.
As a fan of musicals, I walked Into this excited, and left disappointed. The vibe of this movie gave me High School Musical mixed with Mean Girls, but in the worst way.
Don’t get me wrong, there were many moments in this movie that were very entertaining, but overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch this again.
Also James Corden, stop. Please stop.

After hearing all the hype for this movie, I went in expecting a masterpiece. Watching Marriage Story, I quickly realized this isn’t the same kind of masterpiece that Parasite is. It’s a masterpiece because the story, acting and cinematography is entirely human and real. The long takes, the superb acting, and the pensive atmosphere creates masterful story telling. I watched this not wanting it to end.
