Stunning movie, you can pause at any moment and the frame is gorgeous and interesting. Believable characters and very genuine feeling dialog. I especially love the relationship between Will Graham and Jack Crawford— if they were real, they would actually act that way and yell at each other that way. His wife is a great character too- subtly very fleshed out; I really respect the writing of every single character.
You can’t really compare anything with Anthony Hopkins’ Dr. Lecter, but…
