The bar is set high if you enjoyed Noroi, yet, even if it shares a similar cinematic language (Found footage, Mockumentary), it has a more intimate approach worth to experience.

Specially the music, holy shit.

With a self-insert from the director and a wacky cameo for fans of J-horror, it's an absurd and chilling experience that masterfully knows how to manipulate expectations to slowly build up tension and finally blow up from proportions.…

Even if this was so bad after i tried so hard to like it, i can't pinpoint why does Jose Martin looks like so many celebrities yet none of them at the same time. I suppose he has one of those generic faces, but so help me god.

This movie is Absolutely Fucking Massive.

It’s an existential, mystical, political, and absurd gut-punch—a sensory bombardment of alchemy, psycho-spiritual symbolism, and cosmic jokes, all hurled at you with a narrative style that’s equal parts raw, whimsical, and unapologetically chaotic. It doesn’t give a shit about coddling you, yet somehow never slips into self-seriousness.

Oh, there’s also ass. There’s shit. There’s genitals. There’s sketchy ’70s animal treatment and bad dialogue deliveries that hit like a shotgun blast. So yeah, raw isn’t…
