A tour-guide on the trolley tour at Arlington National Cemetery actually talked about this movie when they were at a section of where Civil War Veterans are buried when I went this year. So I figured, why not I watch this since they recommend it.
Harvey Milk is the type of person & figure that we need today. His long fight towards LGBTQ rights & his part in the gay rights movement in San Francisco is truly more of what we need today for equality.
Also, the fact that he & the mayor of San Francisco at the time, George Moscone were both assassinated by the same person. Thank you Mr. Milk. 🥛
I had no idea that Theodore Roosevelt lost both his mother & his first wife on the exact same day & also in the exact same house as well. Shocking isn't it.
I'm a big history nerd & enjoy watching anything related to U.S. Presidents & American History, so I'm biased.
A very good history lecture honestly & I'm sucker for when it comes to U.S. History & Presidents in general.
Keep in mind this was directed by the dude who made movies about sharks, aliens, cowboys, & dinosaurs & now he made a movie about one of the greatest presidents in U.S. History. He's got some variety.
