Presidential Bloopers

Hahahahha, funny Gerald Ford keeps falling down Air Force One.

From Richard Nixon's yo-yo lessons from Roy Acuff, to Jimmy Carter's big ass grin, even U.S. Presidents have there comedic times. Again, I'm biased.

Primary

My mean is er uh, JFK, I am running for President. I er uh, shall defeat that triple H, in the primaries in farm land Wisconsin & I er uh, will become the Democratic candidate for President.

A very good documentary about how Presidential Election primaries are & how they work in Presidential Elections. JFK would definitely get my vote in the Democratic Primary in 1960. Sorry, Hubert Humphrey, you'll get another chance to win another year, oh wait.

How come everyone keeps forgetting that Jacqueline Kennedy won her own Emmy Award because of this?

Weird.

LBJ

2016

★★★ Watched

Wait, so your telling me that the guy who directed This is Spinal Tap, Stand by Me, & The Princess Bride is now making a biopic about a former U.S. President, Lyndon B. Johnson. Well I guess he wants to have some variety. LBJ turns 114 years old today & I almost forget that his birthday was today, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to watch well, LBJ.

As the for movie itself, I don’t really think that Woody Harrelson…

13th

I've been putting off the documentary 13th for literal months now & I figured that watching 13th on Juneteenth would be the perfect time to watch this eye-catching historical documentary of what seriously f**ked up our country has been to African-Americans in over 200 years.

Now, a lot this stuff that they mentioned in 13th I already knew. Hell, I even knew what ALEC is & why it's such a piece of shit corporation & how it manipulates Congress. It just pulls in…

Young Mr. Lincoln

Life in the 1830's: Duels, Pie Eating & Rail Splitting Contests, & Tug-of-War competitions.
Life in the 2020's: The Internet, Video Games, & NASCAR racing.

You see the different timeline we live in folks. Anyways, Happy Birthday to The Great Emancipator, Abraham Lincoln. This was just as great as Steven Spielberg's Lincoln (2012), but Spielberg's is better.

Jackie

Why didn't Natalie Portman won an Oscar for this? Seriously, she's so damn good & spot on. Even the way she talks is just like Jacqueline Kennedy speaks.

Quite possibly one of my favorite historical movies.

Charlie Wilson's War

Pretty boring & mediocre. That's all I have to say.

Sorry Hanks. This is another one that really doesn't appeal to me that much.

United 93

2006

★★★★ Liked Watched

You know, I'm not even going to joke about anything to this. Paul Greengrass of Captain Philips fame gives a great in-depth view of those who lost their lives not just on United 93, but those on the 3 other planes that were hijacked on the very horrific day. May their lives not be forgotten 21 years later for their sacrifice & heroism preventing United 93 for reaching it's target.

New York Times: Publish, Publish, Publish.
Richard Nixon: No, No, No.
New York Times: Yes, Yes, Yes, you damn crook.

I love how it ends on the Watergate break in & begins trolling President Nixon.

Glory

Ferris Bueller goes to war. Oh okay, in all seriousness, this is an interesting take on a major battle in the American Civil War with an interesting cast of Broderick, Washington, & Freeman.

A tour-guide on the trolley tour at Arlington National Cemetery actually talked about this movie when they were at a section of where Civil War Veterans are buried when I went this year. So I figured, why not I watch this since they recommend it.

Selma

Watching Selma on this Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2022. Everyone knows that Martin Luther King Jr. meant a lot to our country, trying to grant equal voting rights to everyone in the segregated south by using nonviolence. Without him, our country would be going into an entirely different direction for equality.

R.I.P to MLK Jr., John Lewis, & to everyone else.
