Jacob Pharaoh’s review published on Letterboxd:
Dune: Part Two is visually and creatively rich, Denis Villeneuve is clearly very ionate about this project and it shows.
This is a product of love and cinema is the best when there is a focus and purpose behind the filmmaking. Everyone in this film excels, the production design, the film is beautiful and simply inspiring.
One day, little Denis was reading a book called Dune and was lost in the world, enamored by its history and the characters, he dreamt of making his vision come to reality and finally, a dream comes true and that world he always loved and had in his mind now exists. Of course, the books always exist and David Lynch had his version. But there is something very authentic and unique about this film and it’s beautiful to see.
Thank you Denis for making your dreams come true.
