Finally got to see it in one of the 12 theaters worldwide playing this in its true 70mm film IMAX. 
Truly a once and a lifetime experience that I will forever. Denis Villeneuve is a mastermind who has worked his way through his discography to create this series which is now going to become a historical monument in the history of film in the same way as Star Wars & Lord of the Rings. I was weary of believing that to be true before I saw this but now I am certain it will happen. 

Dune is one of those universes that is so addicting alongside those timeless franchises I mentioned. The fact that the Dune books are finally being portrayed on the screen in the way they deserve to be, is so exciting, and It’s exciting as a lover of movies.

It truly feels like we are in a new golden age of film, despite the wide spread conception that Hollywood is dying. Yes, a lot of studios are phoning in things, and there’s a bigger spotlight on hollywood’s uglier moments. But film lovers are proving with their time and money that the art form is still flourishing and has room to keep growing. The last 4 years alone have all produced films of a lifetime, and the handful of box office failures can’t take that away. 

I love this franchise, despite me doubting it ever since the trailer for Dune pt. 1 dropped. This film though has truly solidified itself in my heart with the multiple theater experiences I’ve had with it, along with solidifying itself in history with how beloved it will be for decades to come.
