]]>Thanks for making me try this Logan
]]>Technically hit all 15 beats…
]]>The definition of what I would call a middle of the road movie. It is dialogue heavy which, hey, props to the actors, but it’s also a safe movie. Not much happens besides a philosophical conversation. It’s great to put in at night for a movie to tire you out, and I’m sure there are some great point in it, though it was difficult to pay attention. Since not much happens there’s really nothing to comment about it. It was a story, sure, a beginning middle and end, but the conflict was all spoken and we have to trust that action will have happened.
All in all, the movie was not in any means good nor bad. This may be the first neutral movie I have ever watched.
]]>Rod Williams the only man with logic in this damn movie
]]>French Love is the kind of short film that reminds you why cinema exists in the first place—to make you feel what others feel. Salazar crafts a stunning in every way imaginable story that pulls you into a world where every glance, every silence, and every moment drips with meaning through his color grading and plot
Schoenberger and Burrows deliver performances so beautiful and full of experience. They practically rewrite the language of on-screen chemistry. The cinematography? Gorgeous. The score? Heart-wrenching. The storytelling? Effortless, yet unforgettable.
]]>Jackie Chan never not makes me laugh
]]>This was a bigger fever dream than grease

]]>Color grading reminded me of Salazar’s “6 Months ‘till Impact”. That was one of the worst character arcs I have seen

]]>This is how you make a 3 hour movie

]]>It’s great, but what is the takeaway again? It is Pixar so I assume there is some sort of moral lesson here
]]>How does one come up with a plot like this?
]]>This was a fever dream
]]>Why did half of it feel like I was watching cut scenes from a video game
]]>Speechless

]]>That movie yucked my yum
]]>When you're given a cast like that, it's difficult to go wrong
]]>Lula reminds me of my grandma. Favorite character
]]>The most beautiful cinematics and orchestra I have seen. Truly something else
]]>Three hours and twenty six minutes is a wild length for a film

“Are you kidding me? I’m blind!” My friend was right, I was not ready for those deaths
]]>Rest in Peace Carrie Fisher.
]]>Missed the first 20 minutes but I’m gonna say that it probably helped that the movie was around 90 minutes
]]>They can take out a solid 45 minutes and it would be soooo much better. Some dope stuff, some lame stuff yk how it is
]]>Watched on Tuesday August 20, 2024.
]]>What a good cast
]]>W backstory, W Yoda, W ending
The start was a bit boring tho ngl
]]>THE BESTEST FILM IN THE ENTIRE WORLD
]]>Always great with a W cast
]]>One of the best I’ve seen so far. Has a little bit of everything 🤏🏻
]]>Jar Jar Binks makes mesa want to stab my ears out. Qui-Gon was cool though
]]>I can understand how good this movie must have been when released, but it was pretty freaking boring, On one hand, feeling the work behind the movie, such as learning the history of a building or work of art, makes me appreciate the film, on the other hand IT WAS BORING
]]>They just bullied my boy C-3PO 😭 I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns to the dark side.
]]>Movie would be 10 times shorter if Patches O’Houlihan was Luke’s mentor

The characters were perfect exaggerated foils of each other and I feel like have embodied all of these characters at some point or each other.
Maybe the part I liked the most was the amount of plots. I love when a movie contains a multitude of plots rather than just two or three because in reality we have so many "plots" going on in our lives, and what made this movie so good was that they weren't all introduced and wrapped up at the same time. The main plot was split up into mutiple parts, each blending into the next with sub plots being added and wrapped up throughout the movie.
I also appreciated the ending. As someone who currently goes to school, there was something so true I don't recall many other films talking about. The fact that our friends in elementary, middle, and even highschool may not be our friends in the future is generally looked down upon, but the bittersweetness of how they said that it is okay to drift apart from people gives me a respect to the film. Without that ending, it would still be great, but maybe not so high on my list.

I have no Idea why I like the ending because I shouldn't have. The ending was so "in the moment" good that it didn't seem like the next days would matter, but in harsh reality, they probably do.
]]>A masterpiece as always
]]>Words can’t describe what perfection is, but this film is the epitome of it!
